FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. I can't swim! Can I still row?
A. Yes. Most members choose to row without life jackets because they are confident swimmers but you can wear a small, self inflating life jacket if you like.
--
Q. Do these boats sink?
A. No. Well, at least not completely! They are designed to float even if they are upside down or full of water. If the boat goes over you should stay with the hull and use it as a float.
--
Q. So they can capsize then!?
A. Oh yes. They can go over but a 4 or a pair is most unlikely to capsize. It is the blades (which are hollow) which gives the boat it's stability so as long as the blades are in the water these boats are extremely stable.
